SESSION DURATION AND STRUCTURE
How long is the show?
The show runs for approximately 60 minutes.
Can you work around our school timetable?
Yes, we work around your break times.
How many students per show?
We have a minimum number of 200 students per show and up to 300 in a performance. With numbers over 300 we will perform additional shows.
THE AUSTRALIAN CURRICULUM
How does the show relate to the Australian Curriculum?
Each show is divided into segments which relate to specific outcomes from the Key Learning Areas. Please refer to each show for the outcomes.
How can I integrate this with my daily planner and programming?
Each of the outcomes can be inserted into your program overview for the Key Learning Area. We are happy to discuss with teachers outcomes they would like to cover from a Key Learning Area.
DAY OF THE INCURSION
What time will you arrive?
We will arrive approx. 1 hour prior to performance to sign in, set up etc. This is where the presenters will meet with teacher/person in charge.
What do we, as the school, have to provide?
All we require from the school is access to power and water and a couple of tables (classroom or trestle). Educational Incursions provide all sound equipment etc.
How much space do you require?
We need approx. two metres from wall and approx. four metre width, school halls are perfect.
What other things do I need to consider?
Are gates open for access to performance area, do we need access codes to enter carpark?

How much does the incursion cost?
Pricing Structure:
The average price per student is $9 however each school is quoted on an individual basis depending on student numbers, event dates and school location. We will give you a detailed breakdown of costs at the time of your enquiry.

What if our student number attendance is over 350?
We would perform multiple shows either in stages or vertically aligned classes (eg. K-6 in each group)
What if students are absent on the day?
We allow 10% variation of numbers quoted on booking confirmation.
What happens if we need to cancel performance?
In the unlikely event of any changes, due to unforeseen circumstances, the performance will be rescheduled and any cancellations will be at the discretion of Educational Incursions, fees apply in the event a scheduled performance does not proceed as per our T & C’s.
RISK ASSESSMENTS AND HEALTH AND SAFETY
Do the presenters have Working with Children Checks?
Yes, all our presenters have Working with Children Certificates which can be sited on arrival.
Do your presenters have teaching qualification?
Yes, our presenters are fully qualified, registered teachers with the Teachers Registration Board. They also have current RRHAN-EC (Mandatory Notification Training) and First Aid Certificates.
Are your presenters fully vaccinated against Covid, Flu and Whooping Cough?
All our presenters have necessary vaccinations including booster shot for Covid.
Where can I find risk assessments?
Risk assessments will be provided for your incursion paperwork on request.
Do you have appropriate Public Liability Insurance?
Yes we have full public liability insurance with Allianz for a value of $30,000,000 and a copy of certificate will be provided on request.
